Why I Carry A Camera

I’m a landscape photographer based in the UK, inspired by the wild coastlines and ancient woodlands that shape this country. My work is about capturing fleeting light, seasonal colour, and the quiet drama that makes each place unique.

For me, photography is about connection — with light, with place, and with the stories landscapes hold. From spring bluebells and summer greens to storm-lit cliffs and autumn gold, I aim to create images that invite people to pause, reflect, and carry a piece of the outdoors into their own space.

My images are available as fine art prints and for licensing in editorial and commercial projects. Beyond the camera, I enjoy exploring new locations with my partner, planning seasonal shoots, and sharing the process of chasing light through the landscape. My hope is that these photographs not only document a place, but also evoke a feeling — timeless, authentic, and quietly painterly.
